Charlie Wi and Jason Dufner On Their Top Ten Finishes at The Honda Classic

SANTA ANA, CA – March 12, 2009 – GolfGym and Coach Joey D offer congratulations to Jason Dufner and Charlie Wi who had matching T9th finishes at the Honda Classic last week. Both players have been working with Coach Joey D, one of the elite biomechanics, strength and conditioning coaches on the PGA Tour and using GolfGym training products every day as part of their golf fitness programs.

Dufner and Wi both shot a 3-under 277 to claim winnings of $145,600.00 each at the Honda Classic in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

“Both Charlie and Jason worked their tails off this past week, both in the fitness trailer and on the course,” said Joey. “I am extremely happy to see their efforts pay off with top ten finishes.”

As a coach on the PGA Tour for over 10 years, Joey D is best known for coaching Vijay Singh during a seven year period that was highlighted when Vijay became #1 in the world.  Joey D’s coaching methods with Vijay were featured on an ABC Special, Practice Like a PGA Tour Player, which showcased Vijay’s dedication and work ethic to improve his golf fitness and performance, and a CBS Special, The Science of Golf, which focused on the biomechanics of the golf swing. In addition to Charlie Wi and Jason Dufner, Joey D’s current roster of players includes PGA TOUR players Pat Perez, Ryuji Imada, Tim Wilkinson, and Tom Pernice, Jr.
