PGA Tour Biomechanics, Strength and Conditioning Coach Joey D

SANTA ANA, CA – January 15, 2009 – Meet PGA Tour Biomechanics, Strength and Conditioning Coach and GolfGym partner, Joey Diovisalvi, at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida January 29th and 30th. He will be autographing and giving away his new GolfGym Weighted Training Club DVD to the first 50 people to meet him.  Tour player Travis Perkins, who is highlighted in the DVD, will be on hand to give his perspective on the importance of golf fitness at the tour level.

Joey D has been a coach on the PGA Tour for over a decade and is one of the most highly respected and sought after biomechanics, strength and conditioning coaches on Tour. He coached Vijay Singh and traveled with him to all the tournaments for seven years and for one year performed double duty as his caddy. That happened to be the year that Vijay set the record for most money earned in one season on the PGA Tour.

Joey D’s coaching methods with Vijay were highlighted on an ABC Special, Practice Like a PGA Tour Player, and a CBS Special, The Science of Golf, which showcased Vijay’s dedication and work ethic to improve his golf fitness and performance. All that hard work paid off as Vijay became #1 in the world. Joey D’s current roster of players includes PGA Tour players Pat Perez, Ryuji Imada, Tim Wilkinson, Tom Pernice, Jr., and Charlie Wi.

In addition to signing autographs, the athletes will demonstrate the GolfGym Joey D Signature Series of Products.
